California Winter Ends with a Bang!
Surfline.com March 24, 2010 -"I was on [photog Joe] Foster's program so it was full-on leave late and blow it. But thankfully, Foster was running late that day and it ended up working out perfectly because the tide was a little lower when we finally started shooting," Jesse Merle-Jones laughed. "That day was really fun. The sickest part about it was that the whole of Newport Beach was surfing the lower streets and I was down the beach all by myself surfing waves just as good."

No Place Like the North Shore
Surfline.com December 14, 2010 - From the lifeguard stand at Ehukai Beach Park, you can scope no less than nine wildly different surf spots. From far right to left: Rocky Point, Gas Chambers, Pupukea, Beach Park, Gums, Pipe, Backdoor, Off-the-Wall, Rockpiles. Each favors a different swell direction, each has its own devotees, and each breaks best at a certain size. Jesse Merle-Jones has been doing turns like this on days like this for years at Rocky Point.
